The life and scientific works of Abu Nasr al-Farabi
At the initiative of Al-Farabi KazNU, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of the Middle East and South Asia, within the framework of the 1150th anniversary of the great philosopher, scientist Abu Nasr al-Farabi, lectures are organized for teachers of the Arabic language, doctoral students and undergraduates on the heritage of Al-Farabi in Arabic language. In accordance with the work plan, on October 20, 2020, Professor of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies of Al-Azhar University Ali Ali Shaaban held an online lecture on the topic "The life and scientific works of Abu Nasr al-Farabi". As listeners, the lecture was attended by specialists of the Arabic language and scholars on Farabi studies from the countries of near and far abroad.
This online meeting, dedicated to the scientific legacy of Abu Nasr al-Farabi, is a continuation of the webinars previously held by the Department of the Middle East and South Asia in the framework of the "Leadership Lectures". During the meeting, the listeners learned a lot of new and interesting things on a topic of interest to them The moderator of this webinar was the Dean of the faculty, PhD Y.M. Paltore, among whose listeners was the entire faculty of the department, the meeting ended with an exchange of views, questions and answers.
