The teacher of the Department of Mathematics, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Serik Aitzhanov was awarded the honorary title "The best teacher of the university-2020".

In total, 623 teachers from 73 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the prestigious republican competition. 150 people from 48 universities of the country were recognized as the best of the best.

The activity of teachers was evaluated according to two parameters: the quality of teaching, research activity. For the first time this year to avoid the subjectivity submission of applications for participation in competition "the Best teacher of the University-2020", the procedure of verification of documents, as well as the appeal was carried out through the information system of MES RK in online mode.

The winners received a unique opportunity to complete an internship at the world's leading universities in order to conduct research and improve their skills.
