Open lesson on «Mountains and a healthy lifestyle»
On April 15, 2021, at the UNESCO Sustainable Development Chair of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, within the framework of the Healthy Body Cult project, an open curatorial hour on the topic: «Mountains and a healthy lifestyle» was held in an online format.
The purpose of the event was to form a clear idea of mountain tourism and a healthy lifestyle, aimed at improving spiritual and physical fitness. Under the leadership of acting Associate Professor Zubova O.A. Master's student of the specialty «7M05209 - Geoecology and environmental management» of the 1st year of study Zhaksylykova A.К. prepared a presentation, photo materials about mountain tourism and easily accessible routes in the mountains, as well as about other beautiful places in Kazakhstan, recommended for visiting based on materials and articles about mountain tourism, as well as personal experience.
Of particular interest among 2nd year students of the specialty «6В05201 – Geoecology», for whom a curatorial hour was held, was aroused by information about the positive impact of mountain tourism on the spiritual and physical condition of a modern person, the development of his inner qualities, discipline and a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
Students were interested in the topic, talked about their hobbies. Guests of the event asked questions about mountain routes and the safety of hiking in mountainous areas, especially about the personal travel experience of the host of the event, Zhaksylykova A.K.
