A NEW DINING ROOM OPENED IN THE BIO FACULTY

Today in the educational building of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, a new cafeteria for students has opened. The festive day began with good deeds and all visitors were treated to delicious dishes and sweets for free.

A completely renovated, modern, colorfully decorated food center is an eye-catcher. It is warm, light, spacious and cozy inside. Dedicated staff provide quality services to students and visitors.

The opening of the new center was attended by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of KazNU named after Al-Farabi Zhanseit Tuimebayev, congratulating students and teachers on the significant event.

In the dining room for students, staff and teachers, dishes are prepared from the menu of Kazakh, Uyghur, Eastern and European peoples, while prices are generally affordable. Here pea soup, borscht, homemade noodles, and other first courses cost 400 tenge. Second courses: cutlet with a side dish, fried meat, meatballs, chicken, stuffed peppers, pilaf - 700 - 800 tenge.

1st year student of the Faculty of Journalism Meruert Abdrazak shared her impressions, thanking the university administration: “We came to the opening of the nutrition center at the Faculty of Biology. And we were satisfied with the quality of service, dishes, prices. We had a delicious lunch and went to class in a great mood. Recently, modern canteens have been opened at our university, and this is very important for young people. Thanks to the university administration for taking care of us! "

Today KazNU pays close attention to modern classrooms and comfortable dormitories, new catering centers are opening, thereby creating conditions for high-quality nutrition for young people. Earlier, a large canteen was opened on the territory of the university in the Keremet Student Service Center, which simultaneously serves about 150 people. And in the new food center, about 500 visitors can dine a day.

Also, in the near future, canteens, cafe-bars, fast food lines in demand among young people, and coffee machines will be installed in other educational buildings.
