On October 21, 2021, the international round table on the topic: "Dostoevsky and World Culture" was held. It was dedicated to F.M. Dostoevsky’s 200th anniversary.
Russian and Foreign Literature Department of the Faculty of Philology of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia together with M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art of the Academy of Sciences of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature of the Faculty of Philology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were the organizers of the round table
The purpose of the round table was to discuss fundamental problems related to the perception of F.M. Dostoevsky's work in the modern multicultural world, the influence of his heritage on the cultures of different countries, as well as to consider the problems of modern interpretations of F.M. Dostoevsky's work.
