Kazakh gymnast Nariman Kurbanov won gold at the World Cup in Gymnastics (Australia, Champion on Horse / Mach) 2019

He represented Kazakhstan at the 2018 Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

He finished 6th in the me's horseback competition and Kazakhstan also finished 6th in the me's artistic team competition.

In 2019 he won a silver medal in horseback riding at the 2019 Summer Universiade held in Naples, Italy
