"National Day of Languages in Kazakhstan"

On September 7, 2022, Lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages A.Shayahmet and A. Otetileuova, Lecturer of the Department of Diplomatic Translation M.Myrzagaliyeva held the "National Day of Languages in Kazakhstan" event within the university Week of Languages. In the event conducted in the form of ‘languages festival’, undergraduate students from the Faculties of Oriental Studies and International Relations actively participated.

At the festival of languages, the kui of the Kazakh dombra sounded (A.Bolativa, A.Marlen), pieces of poetry in Turkish and Russian were recited (A.Sayakhatov, G.Uzakbayeva, U.Kasym, N.Baygaliyeva), Turkish, English, French, Korean songs were performed (A.Assan, A.Bolat, A.Bekasylova, A.Nugumanova, S.Span, B.Khamitova, R.Amangeldiyeva, A.Arystanbekova, Zh.Tursunbekova, K.Sovetkhan), as well as national dances (A.Askar, A.Kydyrkhan, N.Kokteubai, S.Ibragimova, Z.Utegenova); even Gaudeamus was sung in Latin (A.Bekassylova, A.Murat, N.Seidaly, A.Berikova, A.Dzhaylibeyeva, A.Menlibek, G.Muratbek, N.Myrzagaliyeva, D.Gabitollayeva, A.Serikbay, A.Askarova). And the leading students of the event A.Tileu (Oriental Studies) and N.Baygaliyeva (International Relations) were fluent in Kazakh, English, and Russian.
