On November 15, 2022, a round table on the topic “Fair Kazakhstan” was held at the Faculty of International Relations with the participation of 1st year Master’s degree students of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science and teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages. The round table was devoted to the early Presidential elections of the Republic of Kazakhstan which will be held on November 20. The main goal of the event is to increase the political activity of the youth, encourage them to vote in the elections and make their choice in creating a fair society. During the event the participants got acquainted with the election programs of the candidates and discussed the main objectives proposed by each candidate.
Students presented their programs to the public and prepared presentations on behalf of the candidates or as their representatives. The participants asked the candidates questions. In the second part of the event a quiz was held. The questions of the quiz concerned the electoral system of Kazakhstan, the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as domestic and foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The participants of the event were active, gave right answers to the questions and demonstrated their knowledge.
