On October 20, 2022 the curators of the department «Economics» Ilyashova G.K. and Turarov D.R. a round table was held with 2nd year students on the occasion of the upcoming Republic Day on October 25 on the topic «Looking into the future of Kazakhstan». Independence has been the eternal dream and goal of many nations and peoples. Our ancestors also said that «there will be no country without being independent,» and they dreamed that their people, who owned this vast steppe, would become an independent country. President Kassym-Zhomart Kemeluly Tokayev has chosen the day of the adoption of the declaration «On State Sovereignty» of the Kazakh SSR as an official holiday. Independence is important because it elevates the spirit of a nation, provides a basis for its independence, clarifies its future, and allows it to draw moral lessons from its past.
