On December 1, within the framework of “100 books” project according to which all student of Al-Farabi KazNU should read each book outlined by the given above project in the dormitory of the Faculty of Philology, № 17 , the literary evening on the topic: "Queen of Poetry" was held. It was dedicated to the memory of the folk writer, the outstanding poetess of Kazakhstan Fariza Ongarsynova. The evening was organized by the students of KF-202 of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The students sang lyrical songs from the works written by the poetess Fariza. In addition, the young poet, the 2-year student of “Kazakh philology” major, Kozhagul Nursultan, who knows Fariza Ongarsynova’s poems by heart, recited the poems dedicated to her. The 1st year student of "Literary Studies" major, Balginbayeva Perizat and the 2nd year student Bauyrzhanuly performed wonderful musical compositions – kuis devoted to the poetess. Fariza's poem was also read by Nurlybaikhankyzy Nazerke, the 2nd year student. Her reciting of Fariza’s poem was so moving and that it touched upon the hearts of all audience. The song dedicated to the poetess Fariza performed by the group KF-202 was the perfect end to the evening.
