DELEGATION OF KAZNU UNDERGOES AN INTERNSHIP IN TURKEY

On the initiative of the Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev, about fifty representatives of the teaching staff and young scientists of the university have gone to Turkey to undergo the professional training.

Akdeniz University is one of the leading universities in Turkey. According to scientific articles on the basis of academic research in Turkey, Akdeniz University is among the top-5. The university's campus, located on the Mediterranean coast has more than 250 buildings. The scientific and technological base of the university has high capabilities.

During the week-long course, trainees will get acquainted with the Turkish higher education system and exchange experience in organizing the educational process. In addition, the participants will engage in trainings on the topic of modern education and advanced technologies in education. During the visit, it is planned to further strengthen the partnership for the implementation of joint educational programs and projects.

At the meeting with the delegation of KazNU, the head of the Department of Health Management of Akdeniz University Mustafa Coban noted that joint projects between KazNU and the Turkish University will be implemented in the future.

"Akdeniz University is the largest university in Turkey. In the future, we plan to implement many large-scale projects with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Currently, the educational institution has joint projects with France, Italy, and the United Kingdom. The university has great achievements in the field of medicine, including plastic surgery and reproductive medicine. There is a special center for tuberculosis research. In addition, methods and approaches to the treatment of this disease are being studied in other laboratories," Mustafa Coban announced.

It must be noted that last year the staff of KazNU visited the leading universities of Turkey and exchanged experience.
