The Russian scientist held a two-week lecture course

From November 17 to 26, 2022, Irina Valerievna Korovina, associate professor of the department of English philology, deputy dean of the faculty of foreign languages for scientific work at the N.P. Ogarev Mordovian State University(Russian Federation, Saransk), held a 2-week course of lectures on the topic "Parameters of cultural differences and their influence on intercultural communication" I.V. Korovina is the foreign scientific supervisor of Mukatai Klara, a 2nd-year doctoral student of our department.
Before the start of the course, Irina Valerievna was received by the dean of the faculty Em Natalya Borisovna. They discussed ways to develop relations and cooperation between the two universities. In her lectures, our Russian guest focused on intercultural communication, one of the main directions in the field of modern linguistics. 1st-2nd year graduate students participated in the course. Lectures were held at a very high level and aroused great interest of undergraduates. We believe that such interesting and useful lectures will continue in the future. We hope that the cooperation between the two universities will continue to develop.
