The rector took part in the opening ceremony of the Tagzym memorial with the participation of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Zhanseit Tuimebayev took part in the opening ceremony of the Research Institute of Turkology and Altai Studies in the Al-Farabi Library. Then he made a presentation at the I International Scientific Congress "The Ethnolinguistic Image of the World and the Turkic Heritage".

The Rector of KazNU met with Professor of the School of Chemistry, Products and Pharmacy of the University of Reading Vitaliy Khutoryanskiy.

Zhanseit Kanseitovich took part in the cultural event "Historical Figures – the Memory of the Country" dedicated to the 110^th anniversary of the prominent statesman Dinmukhammed Akhmetovich Kunaev.

The head of the university met with the General Director of CNPC in Kazakhstan, Li Yonghong. At the meeting the parties discussed issues of joint implementation of large-scale projects.

Zhanseit Tuimebayev congratulated the writer, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Smagul Yelubai on the 75^th anniversary.
