KAZNU SIGNS PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENTS WITH UNIVERSITIES OF THE SILK-ROAD UNIVERSITIES NETWORK IN DUBAI

During the 8^th Annual General Assembly of the Silk Road Universities Network, memoranda of cooperation were signed between al-Farabi Kazakh National University and best higher educational institutions of Central Asia.

The Head of KazNU held a number of working meetings with rectors of universities of Central Asia, discussed the prospects of cooperation and partnership for the development of science and education of the member states of the Silk Road University Network.

In particular, Zhanseit Kanseituly had a dialogue with his fellow colleague, the rector of Samarkand State Institute of World Languages, Ilkhomjon Madaminovich Tukhtasinov. As a result of fruitful negotiations, a Memorandum of Understanding between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and one of the prestigious universities of Uzbekistan was signed.

Also, the partnership agreement was concluded between KazNU and the Institute of Languages and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of Mongolia, headed by Director Zhantsan Bat-Ireedui.

Thus, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, which has received the status of a research university, is actively developing the direction of international cooperation, strengthening scientific ties with higher educational institutions of the world.
