WEEKLY REVIEW OF THE ACTIVITY OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD – RECTOR OF AL-FARABI KAZAKH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY ZHANSEIT TUIMEBAYEV

• Zhanseit Tuimebayev took part in the meeting of the Board of Directors of the 8^th Silk Road Universities Network (SUN) in Dubai.
• Within the framework of the international forum, the head of KazNU signed an agreement on mutual understanding between two leading universities with the rector of the Samarkand State Institute of World Languages Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov.
• Zhanseit Tuimebayev signed a memorandum of cooperation with the rector of the Institute of Languages and Literature of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
• At the initiative of the head of KazNU in order to provide financial assistance to the victims of the earthquake in Turkey, the university staff transferred a one-day salary. A Humanitarian Aid Center has been opened, basic necessities have been collected.
• The rector of the university met with the CEO of Total Eren, Thierry Plaisant. During the meeting, the parties discussed the establishment of partnership and joint implementation of a number of large-scale projects.
