The third (regional) stage of 2022-2023 academic year Republican Olympiad for schoolchildren

On February 13-15, 2023, Daryn Scientific and Practical Center held the third (regional) stage of the Republican Olympiad for schoolchildren for 2022-2023 academic year. In the subject "Kazakh language" schoolchildren competed in reading, writing and speaking. Senior lecturers of A. Baitursynuly Department of Kazakh Linguistics were appointed to the jury of this event. Imankulova S. M. and Abdrakhmanova Zh. A. were the jury members in the subject “Kazakh language in Russian school”, Alimtaeva L. T. and Satkenova Zh. B. were the jury in the subject “Kazakh language in Kazakh school”.

The language level, literacy, grammatical skills of schoolchildren in Kazakh language deteriorate every year. The combined teaching of Kazakh language and literature at school and the updated school curriculum have a negative impact on it.

If we say: “A language that is not the language of the school is not the language of the state” (Kh. Dosmukhamedov), then we must make efforts to improve the quality of the participants in Language and Literature Olympiad .
