WEEKLY REVIEW OF THE ACTIVITY OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD – RECTOR OF AL-FARABI KAZAKH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY ZHANSEIT TUIMEBAYEV

The Rector of the University voted in the elections to the Majilis and local Maslikhats of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The head of the university took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition of artists “Nauryz-Art” and in the celebration of Nauryz holiday as part of the festive program “New Kazakhstan: Values that Unite society”.

Zhanseit Kanseitovich, together with representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries and the diplomatic corps of foreign countries, visited the “Aul of Masters”, where he got acquainted with the traditions of celebrating Nauryz in different countries.

The rector also took part in the March fair dedicated to the Nauryz holiday.

Zhanseit Tuimebayev together with academic staff of the Faculty of Philology held a round table meeting on the topic “Modern Kazakh language: Graphics and Spelling”.

Zhanseit Kanseitovich met with a delegation headed by the Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty, Jiang Wei and discussed issues on further development of the partnership.

The head of the KazNU congratulated all Muslims on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
