Trends in the development of modern poetry

On September 8, 2022, the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of the Philological Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University together with Zhambyl Zhabayev Scientific Center for the Study of Kazakh Folklore and Literature organized a Republican scientific-practical conference devoted to the 70th anniversary of the famous poet Otegen Oralbayuly “Trends in the development of modern poetry”. Within the framework of the conference, the features of Otegen Oralbayuly's work, his role in the modern literary process were discussed. Much attention was paid to the patterns and trends in the development of Kazakh poetry at the turn of the XX-XXI centuries. The conference was attended by teachers, undergraduates and students of Kazakhstani universities.
