On May 24, 2023, the Department of Economics of the Higher School of Economics and Business, within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation, held a career guidance event with graduates of schools in Almaty and the Almaty region at the «Key to Life» Educational Center, a center for quality education and preparation for a future specialty.

The teaching staff of the department, represented by Turarov D. R., Khadzhiyeva A. B., Zholamanov E. M., Parmankulova I. S., the head of the educational center Abeu Baglan and teachers Dairabay Bakdaulet, Ermekbay Gulsara, revealed all the questions on the preparation of competitive specialists in the field of economics and business with the award of bachelor's, master's and PhD degrees, as well as opportunities to get education in double-degree educational programs and education in partner universities (China, Germany, France, Italy, Russia, Spain, Australia, etc.) . The students were presented with the processes and algorithms for shaping them as a modern personality within the walls of the university through the development of various professional, research competencies, analytical, economic and mathematical, digital, creative, communicative abilities and outlined their career prospects after graduation.

The career guidance event ended with a quiz "Blitz-survey" with the awarding of prizes and memorable gifts from the University, and a delicious coffee break was held in an informal atmosphere.

Schoolchildren received answers to all their questions about choosing a profession and a university, as well as about acquiring practical skills and abilities in sectors of the economy (ministries, government and commercial structures, banks, audit companies, manufacturing enterprises, etc.).
