07.06.2023 at the Nazarbayev University, Astana, the France-Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry held the first French-Kazakhstan forum, the day of decarbonization.
This event aims to strengthen partnership between the two countries on energy transition by bringing together governments, intergovernmental organizations, business leaders, academics and other key actors to support Kazakhstan on the road to its carbon neutrality objective.
Thierry Pleasant, Vice-President of Total Еren, sent an invitation to the Geoenergy Center and undergraduates of the specialty "Mechanics of Energy" of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics to participate in the forum.
Large companies from Kazakhstan and France presented their work at the forum. The purpose of the participation of undergraduates in the forum is to get acquainted with the indicated industries, to strengthen and expand collaboration. Master students who participated in the forum were familiar with the work of leading companies and received the necessary information.
