November 12, 2013 a regular meeting of the Discussion Club for masters of law and Ph.D. “Law and Security” will be held at the Department of International Law, School of International Relations (208 aud.)
Meeting time – 11.00 – 13.00
As part of the agenda of the meetings a set of issues related to the problems and prospects of international legal regulation of the theoretical and practical aspects of the principle of equal rights and self-determination of nations will be proposed for discussion. Using specific examples and taking into account the European, Asian and South American experience, the effectiveness and trends of the normative content of the peremptory norms of modern international law applied to modern geopolitical realities will be analyzed.

2. Zhambakieva I. “The legal status of the Uyghur as a national minority in the PRC” (master, International Law, profile direction);
3. Christoforidi A. “Criminal legal aspects of the regulation of new types and forms of genocide in the context of the right to self-determination” (master, International Law, profile direction);
Students, master students and Ph.D. of faculties of international relations, philosophy and political science, as well as the Faculty of Law are invited.
