"Water and energy issues in Central Asia and the prospects for their solutions"
The Faculty of International Relations of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi and the Regional Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in the Republic of Kazakhstan held a international scientific-practical conference on "Water and energy issues in Central Asia and the prospects for their solutions".
In the framework of the conference there were discussed the problem of common water resources usage and water and energy potential of the Central Asia countries, water resources management (legal and geopolitical aspects), mechanisms and instruments of water and energy problem solving in Central Asia.
Representatives of diplomatic corps (such as Michael Grau the Consul General of Federal Republic of Germany, Murat Laumaullin the Counselor of the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Belarus), research structures and international organizations took part in the conference.
