The Scientific library presents the free access of using the electronic resources of Scopus database for scientific researching works of teachers and staff of the university:

From January 10, 2014 the free access to Scopus database of Elsevir publishing house is presented to al-Farabi Kazakh National University by subscription for scientific researches, on the site: http://www.scopus.com.

The database of Scopus represents one of the most world's largest database which indexes more than 18000 names of scientific, technical and medical journals from about 5000 international publishing houses and provides support in searching of scientific publications and links to all papers from the extensive volume of available articles.

Scopus offers to receive full information of h-index of publications, quoting of articles.

The access to Scopus database is provided only through all-university network by IP addresses.
