Our teachers at international symposiums
On October 10-15 2014 in Gansu province hosted the International Symposium on intercultural integration. The organizer of the rector of the University, Mr. Liu Zhong kui. The symposium brought together more than 100 large-cultural studies of Orientalists in the world. The symposium was attended by Professor Cornell University, USA, An Yipan, Zheng Aicai, with Nanhua University (Taiwan), Takako Yamamoto (Japan), David Clements (England), Cui Chunhui (Hong Kong), Yusupov R. (Kyrgyzstan) and leading scientists orientalists from different universities of China.
The symposium was opened by deputy governor of Gansu Province, Ms. Xian Hui. In her opening speech, she noted the invaluable role in the development of such symposiums intercultural integration among the countries located on the Silk Road.
In this symposium, Republic of Kazakhstan was presented by Associate Professor of Chinese Studies Department, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Fatima Daulet, sinologist, known for his work teaching and methodical, scientific and popular sense. The symposium F. Daulet spoke on "Buddha image in cave monuments "Tamgaly Tas». The report was adopted by the scientific community is very warm at the end asked questions that F. After the end of the symposium rector of Northwestern University, Mr. Liu Zhong kui have met Daulet Fatima and expressed hope for closer scientific collaboration of Northwestern University and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Mr. Rector also expressed a desire to organize a joint research center for the study of Central Asia with the participation of scientists Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
