Ensuring integrated water resource management

September 22, 2023 Al-Farabi National University the teaching staff of the Department of theory and history of state and law, constitutional and administrative law and students of the 1st year group 105 in order to implement the UN concept for Sustainable Development and GSD-6 within the framework of the "ensuring integrated water resource management", the current global problem of measures to prevent the threat of water extinction, organized a webinar.The moderator of the webinar was the candidate of Legal Sciences Tursynkulova Dinara Akhanovna, the speakers were 1st year students Beisenbay Arnat, Arabova Aida, Ryskulova Aizhan, Bakhyt Nurai.
The purpose of the webinar: to show how to prevent the shortage of drinking water, one of the most pressing problems in the world, and how to provide water to the regions of Kazakhstan.
The webinar was held in offline and online formats. During the webinar, doctor of law, professor Ibraeva Alua Salamatovna asked the speakers of the webinar questions about the current state of the Aral Sea problem and discussed their thoughts. On this issue, students noted that during the working visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Tajikistan in September 2023, the International Fund for saving the Aral Sea raised the issue of inefficient use of Water Resources at a meeting of the Council of heads of state.
In addition, they discussed the water supply system of the regions of Kazakhstan, which companies provide water, ways to solve the problem of water scarcity, people's misunderstanding of the value of water, the reason for the lack of water, the consequences of river and lake flooding.
