As underscored in the third Sustainable Development Goal, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and the assurance of well-being across all age groups represent pivotal pillars in the edifice of sustainable development. Consequently, the community is confronted with the imperative of exploring and advancing medical treatments, spanning both contemporary and traditional modalities, as well as other allied approaches.

On September 18, 2023, a momentous meeting unfolded between the distinguished Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Affairs, Zh.N. Aitzhanova, and the Rector of Xinjiang Medical University, the preeminent Professor Hadjar Akbar Aisa.

During the meeting, both parties entered into a momentous accord, wherein they pledged their commitment to collaborative endeavors. These encompassed the joint nurturing of experts at the master's and doctoral levels, the formulation of dual-degree programs, the pursuit of joint research, and the orchestration of symposia dedicated to scientific inquiry.

Nestled in the picturesque city of Urumqi, Xinjiang Medical University stands as the sole bastion of higher education in the field of medicine that arose from the harmonious partnership between provincial and ministerial departments in Xinjiang. The institution's sprawling purview encompasses 25 colleges, each offering tutelage in a diverse array of 28 specialized domains. In addition to this rich academic tapestry, the university presides over a constellation of eight hospitals that function under its direct jurisdiction, coalescing to form a potent nexus of medical resources.
