Meeting of students with the Deputy Head of the Zhambyl region Police Department Rakhmetullaev Nurzhan Ermakhanovich

On October 04, 2023, a meeting of students of the educational program "Law Enforcement" of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Faculty of Law with the Deputy Head of the Zhambyl region Police Department, Police Colonel Rakhmetullayev Nurzhan Ermakhanovich took place in the Gaziz Baitasov auditorium. For future law enforcement officers, this meeting was not only a career-oriented event, but also an event that laid in their hearts a sense of selfless love for the Motherland and their people, a sense of professional and official duty and officer honor.

Nurzhan Ermakhanovich showed a film about the life path of an ordinary rural boy Gaziz Baytasov, who dreamed of joining the police, who stubbornly sought to achieve his goal, about his leadership and professional qualities that he developed by ensuring law and order, peace of citizens, about his authority and respect among colleagues, about his feat when he at the cost of his he saved the lives of many, for which on December 05, 2011 Gaziz Baitasov was posthumously awarded the Highest Award of Courage, the Order of "Halyk Kaharmany". Gazis Baitasov was a graduate of the law faculty of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, which his sons subsequently graduated from in order to continue their father's work.

Colonel Rakhmetullayev drew an analogy between the heroism of Gaziz Baitasov and the feat of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, noting that such personalities as Bauyrzhan Momyshuly and Gaziz Baitasov become an example of patriotism, love for the Motherland and selfless service to their people for young people. After watching the film, the guys shared their impressions, and the meeting turned into a question-and-answer format. The students had questions related to the service in the internal affairs bodies, about the interaction of the internal affairs bodies with other law enforcement agencies, about the reforms that are being carried out in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, about international cooperation in the fight against transnational and organized crime.

There is no doubt that this meeting was a lesson of courage for the students, a source of inspiration and wisdom in their future career in the internal affairs bodies. We express our gratitude to Mr. Rakhmetullayev for an interesting meeting!
