Within the framework of the SDGs, a round table on the topic: “The relevance of the ESG agenda in Kazakhstan. Features of commitment to the SDGs in the financial sector"

Al Farabi had a meeting with the Managing Director Risk Management Center JSC BankCenterCredit Ermakbaeva K.E. and National Coordinator for work with UNESCO clubs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erezhepova G.E. as part of a round table on the topic: “The relevance of the ESG agenda in Kazakhstan. Features of commitment to the SDGs in the financial sector.” The event touched upon current issues of the ESG agenda in Kazakhstan: the structure, relevance of the concept of sustainable development, sustainable development of ESG, global initiatives in the field of sustainable development, Kazakhstan in the context of global initiatives were revealed, and the place and role of UNESCO in the global context of the SDGs was covered in detail.
