A round table on the topic “The role of women and men in society, the importance of gender equality, gender equality in Kazakhstan”

On November 6, 2023 at 11:00 a round table was held among students on the topic “The role of women and men in society, the importance of gender equality, gender equality in Kazakhstan” for the implementation and achievement of the fifth UN program to achieve the SDG “gender equality”.
The purpose of the round table is to determine the extent to which the issue of gender equality in the Republic of Kazakhstan plays an important role and the level of active participation of young people in it, to determine whether the laws issued work at the same level as the laws of foreign countries.

At the round table, issues of gender equality were discussed in three languages ​​(Kazakh, Russian and English). The speakers presented their positions and also reviewed the opinions of various TED TALKS speakers and proposed solutions to various problems arising due to discrimination. Round table moderator, head of the Adilet club, professor Atakhanova G.M. and moderator Bisenova M.K. Students of groups 402, 405 and 408 participated. Speakers: Mellat Kalamkas “The role of man and women in modern society, gender equality”, Myrzatay Ayaulym “Gender equality in Kazakhstan”, Kuatkhanova Aruzhan “Kazakhstan Republicasynda  Genderlik tendiktin kalyptasuy", Nysanbaev Toktar, Nuradinbekov Beibars on the topic “Genderlik tendiktin kogam ushin manyzy”, expressed his thoughts.
