On November 9, 2023, in the "Main Botanical Garden", the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University together with 3rd year students of the specialty "Cadastre" of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management held a scientific seminar on the topic: "rational use of terrestrial ecosystems" and "urgent measures to combat climate change the climate has passed. The scientific seminar was held within the framework of the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13. The scientific seminar was organized by Associate Professor of the Department of "Customs, Financial and Environmental Law", Candidate of Legal Sciences Aigarinova G. T., who identified topical issues of the topic. The associate professor of the department noted that due to the pollution of the ecosystem, environmental disturbances, abrupt climate changes or warming are characteristic. Students who made a scientific report noted the urgent problem of the ecosystem in the world and Kazakhstan, its key factors. The main factors of climate change, problems arising as a result of human activity were announced. He also spoke about the key solutions to this problem at the moment, about the work and how to strengthen it. At the scientific seminar, games in various forms were held to consolidate the data obtained, where the excellent students showed their level of knowledge. Following the results of the scientific seminar, specific recommendations were adopted.
