Problems of renewable energy sources (RES)

Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Institute of Mining Engineering (Almaty, Kazakhstan) Nikolay Buktukov offered to the attention of the participants of the conference "A New Way to Decarbonize the Economy (KZGT-2023)" a speech on "Problems of renewable energy and ways to solve them".

The report discusses ways of solving problems related to the introduction of renewable energy sources (RES). The topic is relevant in light of the agenda of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG-17), in particular, Goal 7 - "Affordable clean energy".
