The teaching staff of the Department of Language General Education Training of Foreigners of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held an open curatorial hour for students. The purpose of the event was to introduce the audience to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) aimed at improving the well-being and protection of our planet.
During the curatorial hour, students got acquainted with the 17 goals of the SDGs, and analyzed the relationship between the goals in the fight against climate change and its consequences. The main thesis of this event was to convey that each goal of the SDGs is somehow connected with the fight against climate change. After all, without achieving the goal of responsible consumption and production, we will not be able to save and protect our common planet.
