On the eve of the holiday of languages of the peoples of Kazakhstan, which is celebrated on September 5, teachers of the Department of Language and General Education Training of foreigners express gratitude to foreign citizens from all over the world studying the Kazakh language for respect for the state language of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Representatives of more than 100 nationalities live in our country. The official language that unites everyone under one roof and promotes a friendly and peaceful life is Kazakh. The staff of the Department of Language and General Education Training of foreigners organizes various events in order to explain to students from abroad the importance of the celebrated date. September 5 is the birthday of Akhmet Baitursynov – a teacher of the nation, a reformer, the father of linguistics. Akhmet Baitursynov's place in Kazakh linguistics, in the history of the country, is special. In order to acquaint foreign students more closely with the life and work of Akhmet Baitursynov, teachers of the department conduct excursions to his House-Museum.
