Held a round table on the topic «Prevention of domestic violence against minors» within the framework of the implementation of UN SDG No. 16 «Peace, Justice and effective institutions».

On October 13, 2023 the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics held a round table on the topic «Prevention of domestic violence against minors» within the framework of the implementation of UN SDG No. 16 «Peace, Justice and effective institutions».

At this event, the speakers were the prosecutors of the Almaly district Prosecutor's Office of Almaty, Amirkhan Abzal Meirhanuly and Tanat Yernur Maratuly and the 3rd-year doctoral student of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics, Zhakysh Akerke Zheniskyzy. Also among the participants were 2nd-year doctoral students of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Esbulatov, who took an active part in the round table and answered a number of important questions.

The round table was devoted to the analysis of current problems of prevention of domestic violence against minors and foreign experience in this area, as well as to the discussion of important strategic proposals.

During the discussion, important proposals were made to improve existing programs and legislation in the field of prevention of domestic violence in accordance with the provisions reflected in international legal acts.

In the final part of the event, the participants and speakers were awarded certificates.
