Results of the scientific seminar on the topic: "Legal provision of quality drinking water in Kazakhstan: ways of solution"

21.11.2023 in the course of implementation of SDG-1 "Legal provision of quality drinking water in Kazakhstan: ways of solution" was held a meeting with the head of the legal department of JSC "Eurasian Foods Corporation" Kusmambetov K.D., the moderator of the meeting was the head of the Department of Civil Law, Civil Process and Labor Law Ph, Professor Suleimenova S.J. During the meeting students of the Faculty of Law were explained legal problems of implementation of norms on provision of quality drinking water in water, environmental, civil, tax and antimonopoly legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The norms of different branches of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which contradict each other and create problems in the realization of the rights of the population to quality drinking water, are defined.
The comparative analysis of different normative approach in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan on establishing fees for water use of surface water bodies is carried out.
The norms of water and antimonopoly legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which are aimed at providing the population with quality drinking water, realization of the principle of payment for water use and tariff formation of drinking water supply to the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, were disclosed.
According to the results of the meeting the students of the Law Faculty were disclosed the ways of solution of legal provision of quality drinking water, namely: improvement of legal mechanism of implementation of the principle of payment for water use, improvement of water legislation in terms of careful water use of water resources, improvement of antimonopoly legislation in terms of regulation of water organizations, improvement of environmental and sanitary-epidemiological legislation in terms of the mechanism of water supply to the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
