Peace, justice and effective institutions

November 21, 2023 within the framework of SDG-16 (UN) “Peace, justice and effective institutions” held an Open Day at the “Antikor ortalygy” site of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of Almaty. Students of the Faculty of Law of KazNU named after. Al-Farabi under the leadership of the head of the department of theory and history of state and law, constitutional and administrative law Useinova K.R. and senior teacher of the department Biskultanova A.M. visited the department of Almaty.

The event was attended by the head of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty - Rakhimov Arman Tastemirovich and the deputy head of the Prevention Department of the Anti-Corruption Service of the city of Almaty - Kuramaev Ualikhan Nurmakhanbetovich.

During the meeting, issues of studying corruption problems were discussed in order to develop proposals for their elimination and prevention, the formation of an anti-corruption culture in the student community and participation in the organization of anti-corruption events.

The students expressed gratitude to the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty for the information provided and expressed their readiness to actively participate in initiatives aimed at creating an anti-corruption culture in the educational environment.

This meeting was an important milestone in engaging students in the fight against corruption, emphasizing the role of education in developing responsible and ethical citizens.
