"Social networks and cybercrime: threats and methods of protection".

On the eve of the 90th anniversary of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, senior lecturer Temirbolat Nuraisha and 1st year undergraduate student of the Faculty of Law of the Department of Criminal Law, Process and Criminalistics, specialty "Forensic Examinations" Alimgazy Gulmaral on November 23, 2023, as part of the implementation of UN SDG No. 16 "Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions", held a lecture to students of the 9th grade of the general education schools No. 177 in Almaty on the topic "Social networks and cybercrime: threats and methods of protection". In the modern world, there is a rapid increase in the number of cyber threats. Protection against cybercrime is an important task for all Internet users, especially for the younger generation. Timely awareness of children about preventive measures and methods of struggle can protect them from Internet fraud. The fact that the lecture has achieved its goal can be judged by the activity and interest of the students.
