SDG No.8 - Decent work and economic growth

On December 5, 2023, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor of the department of customs, financial and environmental law G.S. Kalieva took part in the international scientific and practical conference of the Tashkent State Economic University on the topic: “Priority directions for the development of the accounting and audit system in basis of the development strategy of New Uzbekistan.” G.S. Kalieva made a report on the topic: “State financial control: current state”, participating in the plenary session of the international scientific and practical conference.

The conference was attended by leading scientists, government officials, international and national experts, representatives of civil society, university teachers and students, and media representatives. The participants included representatives from Malaysia, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The conference was designed to assess current theoretical and practical issues in the development of the state control system, as well as audit in the context of the transition to sustainable development.
