Issues of sustainable development of the West Kazakhstan region

At the Department of Geography of the University named after by Zhubanov held a working meeting of geographers of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (PhD, Associate Professor E.H. Kakimzhanov, PhD, Associate Professor T.A. Bazarbayeva) within the framework of the mega grant on the topic BR21882122 "Sustainable development of natural, economic and socio-economic systems of the West Kazakhstan region in the context of green growth: a comprehensive analysis, concept, forward-looking estimates and scenarios" https://www.kaznu.kz/ru

During this meeting, issues of cooperation in the field of sustainable development of the region were discussed, regarding the current state of natural resource potential, and the problems of human-made pollution of the soil cover of the studied region were also touched upon. The meeting was attended by representatives – Dean of the Faculty of History, PhD, Associate Professor A.B. Aman, Head of the Department of Herafia and Tourism M. M.Ismailova, leading scientists of the Department, PhD, Associate Professor G. Kubesova, PhD, Associate Professor A.M. Sergeeva and others.
