A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE IS THE PATH TO THE REALIZATION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

From January 8 to January 18, 2024, the 50th traditional sports competition “Health” was held between employees of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the defense industry. 20 teams took part in the Sports festival. Faculty and staff competed in seven sports: volleyball (men's, women's), chess, mini-football, badminton, table tennis and the national game togyzkumalak. The winners of the Sports festival were awarded diplomas and prizes from the Parasat trade union.

The Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management took an active part and took 6th place in the competition. Associate professor T.A. Bazarbaeva and associate professor G.A. Mukanova tooks an active part in the volleyball team, teacher Toktasyn Alisher and 2nd year doctoral student Oshakbai Aitu participated in football with the youth of the faculty and took 2nd place. Deputy Dean on scientific-innovations work and international links affair A.A. Rysmagambetova performed well in the game of badminton.
