"Ensuring universal access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy sources for all" within the framework of SDG 7.

On February 6, 2024, PhD students of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies Abdullaeva A.A. and Stambekova A.E., and the  adviser of  the 1st year students of “Foreign Philology” major,  Tairova G.A. together with the 1st year students of "Foreign Philology" major  held a round table talk  on the topic:  "Ensuring universal access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy sources for all" within the framework of SDG 7. A special guest for this event was DAAD lecturer Kathrin C. Kompe.

During this discussion, the following topics were touched upon: the causes of this problem and the consequences, various solutions to this problem. During  the event,  the participants actively shared their ideas, research results and practical experiences.  They  collaborated, brainstormed and discussed topics such as renewable energy, energy efficiency and new technologies that will help reduce costs without compromising quality or environmental sustainability.

This topic is relevant for the present time, since the current society is faced with a growing demand for energy and this topic may help solve the problem of climate change.
