Choosing a profession

In December 2023, teachers of the Department of the Far East of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the Abadan school in Shymkent. The Abadan school uses the teaching methods of Japanese schools. In some classes, Japanese is taught as an elective. The purpose of the visit is to introduce students and teachers to the Faculty of Oriental Studies, including the Department of Japanese Studies. The students were shown a video, a presentation about the work of the department, about the advantages of studying at KazNU, and the opportunity to study at leading universities in Japan.
