Leadership lecture by Edward Yukhnevich, Professor at the University of Gdansk (Poland)

As part of the leadership (guest) lecture by Edward Yukhnevich, Professor at the University of Gdansk (Poland), on the topic "Combating tax evasion in an international context: methods, challenges and prospects", organized by the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Professor Edward Yukhnevich met with the leadership of the Faculty of Law – Dean Baideldinov D.L., Deputy Dean of the NIDiMS Asanova S.E., Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law Kuanalieva G.A.

Issues of bilateral cooperation between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the University of Gdansk on academic mobility of teaching staff and students, conducting scientific research and educational and methodological work were discussed.

A tour of the building of the Faculty of Law and other departments of the University was organized for Professor Edward Yukhnevich, during which he got acquainted with the activities of the CSU, visited the Museum of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, which is the scientific and information department of the university, representing the cultural and historical values of the university.

The guest was very interested in the Museum's exhibitions, and the installations and layouts presented in it made a great impression.

We express our deep gratitude to Mr. E.Yukhnevich for an excellent lecture and meeting with faculty, students and management of the Faculty of Law, we hope for further fruitful and promising cooperation, exchange of experience on academic and scientific issues, strengthening cooperation between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the University of Gdansk!
