A job fair was held at Al-Farabi KazNU as part of the Digital Farabi international forum.
The fair was attended by: Halyk bank, Beam.kz, Bank Center Credit, Air Astana, Danone, Nestle, Huawei, Samsung, Coca Cola Icecek Kazakhstan, Henkel and more than 35 large companies and organizations. Employers provided students with a wide range of vacancies in various fields.
"Today our university is hosting a traditional job fair. Representatives of each company tell us in detail about their activities, structure and team. This, in turn, stimulates student youth and helps them to orient themselves in the labor market. Thanks to the fair, young people can find internships, traineeships and jobs in various organizations. The choice of vacancies here is very wide," said Yerkebulan Smail, a specialist of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics.
"I came to the fair for the first time this year. I am pleased with the participation of large organizations and companies. I believe that this is a successful step towards the beginning of a professional path for many students. I have a job, but nevertheless I specifically came to today's fair with the intention to try myself in another field," said Mr. Yrysdaulet Karsybayuly, a master's student of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics.
Beam.kz is a platform focused on employment of students and graduates, young specialists. Our company is constantly cooperating with educational institutions, offering young people, regardless of whether they have experience, first of all, special courses and allows them to combine work with studies," said Daria Nurgazhikyzy, Head of Sales Department of the company.
Employers also see a real opportunity to find new labor force at the fair, because specialists in economics, finance, lawyers, IT accountants and other specialists are always needed in the market.
