International round table «Great personalities of the Turkic world»

On February 28, in honor of the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, an international round table "Great personalities of the Turkic world" was held, organized by the Abai Research Institute. The round table was attended by Deputy Head of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies for Scientific and Innovative Work and International Relations, Associate Professor Mira Rashidovna Baltymova. At a scientific meeting in online and offline format, scientists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan discussed issues of Abai studies and Turkology. At the round table, Mira Rashidovna made a presentation on "The problem of human values in the legacy of Al-Farabi and Turkic scientists." He spoke about the ongoing research by scientists of the Al-Farabi Center and the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the University under the grant project AP19676515 "A good man in the legacy of Al-Farabi and Turkic Scientists: a comparative discourse" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and proposed further strengthening ties with the Abai Research Institute.
