Senior lecturer of the The Far East Department Borankulova S.K. conducted a seminar for students of Tokyo University

As part of the winter school program, on 07.03.2024 at 12:00, lecturer of the The Far East Department  Borankulova S.K. held a seminar for students of the University of Tokyo on the topic "Politics of collectivization in Kazakhstan". During the seminar, foreign students got acquainted in detail with information regarding the features of collectivization in Kazakhstan, in particular, the nationalization of the agrarian sector of the economy, the forceful policy of transferring nomads and semi-nomads to settlements, as well as the course of liquidation of land-owning and livestock farms. At the end of the meeting, senior lecturer Borankulova S.K. analyzed the main consequences of the collectivization of agriculture in the country and summarized the results of the seminar. After the seminar, students have the opportunity to ask questions that interest them on this topic. The event was held at a high organizational level.
