SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS 3: "COMBATING CLIMATE CHANGE" OPEN ADVISORY HOUR "APPLICATION OF OPERATIONAL MEASURES TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE AND ITS CONSEQUENCES"

On December 01, Candidate of Technical Sciences of the UNESCO Department of Sustainable Development of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, Candidate of Technical Sciences, senior lecturer N. K. Jacksenbaev, senior lecturer PhD, S. T. Kaldybayeva on the topic "Application of operational measures to combat climate change and its consequences", devoted to currently relevant topics. This event was attended by 2nd and 1st year students of the UNESCO Department of Sustainable Development, Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, specialty 6B11201 - Life safety and Environmental Protection. It should be noted that the open advisory hour was held in accordance with the goal of the SDGs: "combating climate change." The curator of the group explained in detail to the students the purpose and history of sustainable development. It was reported how important the SDGs are for our country. The students, one by one, talked about how to fight climate change, we are part of nature, there is an amazing and unique natural mechanism on our planet for regulating and preserving a climate favorable for human life. Global-water circulation and runoff, biogeochemical cycles, soil fertility and stable temperature at 15 have been maintained on our planet for thousands of years. They explained that our whole life and health, well-being and economy depend on the climate. At the same time, senior students found out how much they realized the importance of climate by conducting special verbal riddles for 1st year students. Summing up the open advisory hour, I would like to say that "the load that we carry together is light", one of the statements of the wise people has a deep meaning, always take care of the environment and take care of nature.
