Issues of state regulation of the economy were discussed

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a scientific and practical round table "state regulation in geo-economic conditions of sustainable economy" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Professor, Doctor of Economic Sciences Zhatkanan Zhagatbaev. 

The event was attended by famous scientists and practitioners of Kazakhstan, as well as international experts, teachers, students, masters, doctoral students from Finland, Russia and Uzbekistan, etc.

Congratulatory letter of the Chairman of the Board-Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev was read out by Zhamila Aitzhanova, member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities. The head of the university congratulated Professor Bayan Baigozhaevich on his 80th anniversary and noted the merits of the famous scientist-economist, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Higher School of Kazakhstan. Yeran Baigozhaevich is a famous scientist-founder of the scientific school on the formation of a mixed economy and the theory of state regulation in the period of mixed economy. He has published more than 300 scientific works. Under the guidance of the scientist 4 doctoral dissertations, 36 candidate dissertations, 6 theses for PhD degree were defended.
