Nauryz is a celebration of spring, renewal, and prosperity. Since ancient times, Turkic-speaking peoples have been celebrating it for 10 days, where each dedicated day has its own sacred meaning. Today, March 14th is Kөrіsu kүnі, a day for greetings and showing respect to elders, as well as the first celebration of the arrival of spring.Translated from the Kazakh language, "kөrіsu" literally means "to see each other" or "meeting".Within the SDG-16 Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances, Natural Compounds, and Polymers at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology celebrated this day.
