Clean air is the basis of a healthy life
On March 27, 2024, teacher Aidana Sabitovna held an interactive lecture on the topic "Clean air is the basis of a healthy life" for 1st year students of the Foreign philology specialty. In the modern world, where the problems of environmental pollution are particularly acute, the issues of maintaining clean air are of paramount importance. Our goal is to make young people aware of the importance of breathing clean air to maintain health and well-being.
During the event, students got acquainted with the main sources of air pollution in the urban environment, including automobile exhaust, industrial emissions and household waste incineration. Teacher Aidana Sabitovna spoke in detail about the impact of polluted air on human health, paying special attention to respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.
To enhance student engagement, a discussion panel was organized to discuss ways to minimize personal contribution to air pollution, such as using public transport instead of a personal car, reducing the use of plastic products and increasing waste recycling.
The event culminated in the development and presentation of mini-projects to improve air quality on the university campus, which students prepared in groups. These projects included the idea of installing air filtration systems in classrooms and conducting environmental actions among students.
Concluding the event, Aidana Sabitovna stressed that concern for clean air should not be limited to one lecture. It should become a part of everyone's daily life. "Let's breathe clean air so that our lungs and future generations will say 'thank you' to us," she concluded, urging students to take active action in favor of ecology.
